About Tracy

Slow Travel Homes was created to help slow travelers, retirees, and internationally minded clients better understand the realities of relocating, purchasing property abroad, and building a more intentional life across borders.

Founded by Tracy Fetter, a California licensed real estate professional since 2006, Slow Travel Homes combines nearly two decades of real estate experience with firsthand international relocation and property ownership experience. Over the course of her career, Tracy has participated in approximately $15 million in residential real estate transactions involving buyer representation, pricing strategy, negotiations, and advisory services.

Having traveled to more than 20 countries and personally purchased property internationally, Tracy brings firsthand experience to the realities of relocation, cross-border property research, and long-term international living.

After years of working in both real estate and project management, Tracy recognized that many people considering relocation abroad are not simply searching for investment properties — they are searching for a different way of living. Some are preparing for retirement abroad. Others are exploring location-independent lifestyles, second homes, or long-term international travel. Most quickly discover that navigating ownership structures, residency considerations, local regulations, and cultural expectations can become overwhelming without trusted guidance.

Slow Travel Homes helps clients navigate the intersection of lifestyle, relocation, and international property ownership. Services include location orientation, budgeting guidance, ownership structure overview, relocation planning, and preparation for engaging licensed local professionals.

Slow Travel Homes is not a law firm, immigration practice, or international brokerage. Instead, the company helps clients better understand the process, ask informed questions, and connect with qualified local professionals appropriate to each country and situation.

Tracy’s background also includes project management, pricing strategy, probate and trust real estate transactions, and professional training in real estate advisory, project management, and client services, including an active California Department of Real Estate License, Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Certified Probate and Trust Specialist, AHWD Certification, e-PRO Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), and studies in Museum Management.

Today, Slow Travel Homes operates remotely while traveling throughout Southeast Asia and other international destinations, providing guidance to clients seeking clarity, preparation, and confidence before making major international lifestyle and property decisions.
